I am a reporter deeply interested in the Southeast Asia region. I’ve written for the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (Manila), the Jakarta Post Newspaper (Indonesia) and a number of US-based media, including the Miami Herald, the New York Times, World Politics Review and Filipinas Magazine. I also file radio stories for Public Radio International, WNYC and WBAI’s Asia Pacific Forum. Currently, I am the anchor for Free Speech Radio News, a daily newscast that airs on 90 stations across the U.S. For more of my work, a full bio and samples of my secret life as a poet, visit: dorianmerina.com.
